The battery-powered carbon monoxide (chad) detector is a modern alarm device designed to continuously monitor the concentration of carbon monoxide. Adapted for interior use, in spaces particularly vulnerable to hazards that may arise as a result of failure or lack of adequate ventilation.
The device has a large LCD display that indicates the level of the detected hazard (carbon monoxide), as well as low battery status and end of life. It has a built-in electrochemical sensor that indicates carbon monoxide levels very precisely. The display also helps to read out information on humidity and temperature levels without having to reach for additional equipment.
A built-in humidity sensor monitors ambient conditions. It allows moisture levels in the air to be tracked, which is important for the health and comfort of the occupants. In addition, a temperature sensor allows you to monitor the heat in the room. Air conditioning and heating settings can be adjusted to optimise energy consumption and reduce bills.
The product has a backlit TEST button that allows you to check that the sensor is working correctly.
The carbon monoxide detector should be placed at eye level, in the most frequently used room, such as the kitchen, living room or corridor, in order to objectively assess the number of particles of carbon monoxide in the inhaled air.
The lifetime of the detector is 10 years. Model powered by two AA batteries (included).
